Review: Dj Gopaldhara Wonder Tea Ex-3 White Tea FF2014

Gopaldhara is part of Mirik Valley in West Bengal, India. It is one of the highest tea estates in the Darjeeling District, with an average elevation of 6000ft (1820m) and a maximum elevation of 7000ft (2130m). The estate was first planted in 1881, on lush green rice paddies.

The name Gopaldhara is a combination of “Gopal”, the name of the original landowner, and “Dhara”, the native word for the streams that flow through the valley.

Of the 320 hectares in the garden, 172 hectares have been planted with tea bushes. The old plantation is now being replanted with new varieties of high quality clonal tea, while the new plantation is dedicated to mixed clonal bushes to produce rare teas.

Gopaldhara recently finished constructing a new tea factory, which is designed for the HACCP hygiene and food safety standards specified by RVA Netherlands.

Description :

1st Flush 2014 - Gopaldhara Wonder Tea            This is an exceptional top quality Darjeeling white tea plucked from the young and tender most AV2 and P312 clonal bushes of this high elevation plantation of Darjeeling.

This is the 1st clonal Wonder Tea lot that rolled out of this premium plantation of Darjeeling this year. The dry leafs are extremely greenish in appearance and is sorted small in size than the other Darjeeling white teas. The dry leafs are filled with small unopened silver tips and buds and has a very high and delicious aroma in this state.

When steeped for complete 3 minutes the cup gives out slight yellow/ greenish liquor. Each sip is super smooth which reminds of freshly picked white grapes and pine apples which further ends with a unique sweetness on the palate.

A super quality health drink which is perfectly made for a true Darjeeling tea lover!

Hodnocení čaj roomu :

  • Vysoce kvalitní bílý čaj z AV2 and P312 clonal
