Longview Estate is situated at a relatively lower altitude in Darjeeling. The relatively moderate temperatures allow for a slightly earlier harvest time compared to estates at higher altitudes. Longview is one of the oldest plantations of Darjeeling, where the company was founded in 1879. The dry leaves are small, most dark green leaves with the presence of some clearer, evenly rolled, the infusion of yellow-orange light in the mouth develops a fresh and lively flavor with hints of almond followed by a delicate aroma of eucalyptus and a delicate astringency. The aftertaste has marked notes of fresh vegetables
