Risheehat Darjeeling Tea Estate: Risheehat tea estate is located in the eastern part of Darjeeling and established in mid 19th century by British Planters. Name Risheehat derived from a word home of holy saints (Rishee-Saints Hat-Home) .The garden is 15 km away from the main city Darjeeling. The garden is divided into two major divisions namely Risheehat main division and Lizahill division. Original name of the garden during British era was Tsering Bagan because of more population of Tsering tribe.
The garden produces Orthodox black, Green and Speciality Tea, Oolong Tea, White Tea, Silver Tips,Hand rolled and Silver Blossom Tea of Darjeeling type.
The local populations grow oranges, cardamom, flowers and vegetables with organic inputs. The garden is well segregated with two main streams and forest from other tea estates in surrounding and these tea estates are also organic producers. Workers of Lizahill division grow finest quality of Anthorium, Dahlia and other ornamental and indoor plants. Ancillary business is floriculture.
Description :
A very well made tea plucked from the matured china bushes of this organic plantation of Darjeeling. The dry leafs are well twisted and are small in size. The dry leafs gives out a very fine and delicious aroma of sugarcanes, caramel and nuts.

SFTGFOP: Super Fine Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe indicates that it contains many tips and are long and wiry in appearance. The liquors are lighter in color.
When steeped for complete 4 minutes the cup gives out bright orange liquor in the cup and a unique aroma of roasted peanuts can be felt on the nose. Each sip reminds of ripe grapes, slightly woody and ends with a sweet muscatel taste on the palate.
Preparation: 5 teaspoons (15g) of tea per 1l of boiled water, steep for 3 - 5 minutes.
A very well made 2nd flush muscatel Darjeeling tea which will surely be appreciated by all palates!
