Review of Tea:  Spring White lot#52013

About the Hawaii Rainforest Tea : Bob Jacobson grows his tea in one of the more pure and healthy places in the world. His tea is all grown under the virgin native forest canopy of ohia and kopiko trees. Orchids and ferns grow throughout my fields. His Rainforest White tea promotes health and wellness as well as clarity of thinking.

He grows only four varietals of Camellia sinensis and assamica for production. These include bohea, benikaori, yutakamidori and yabukita. All growing, harvesting, processing, packaging and marketing is done at his farm where he resides.

He currently doesn't have organic certification, but has cleared the exotic species from the native rainforest by hand. He planted his farm in the previously unused soil using organic fertilizers and soil amendments. He uses only organic fertilizers.

Reviews by Čaj Room : The taste of this white tea was easy to differentiate from its Chinese counterparts, and very similar in look to some of the lightly processed Darjeeling first flush teas. The taste and aroma were very enjoyable, and persisted through all three infusions. This is certainly a unique tea in many positive ways.

  • Unikátní čaj z Hawaie
  • Středně suchý list, vonící po sušeném ovoci, květinách a medu
  • Barva listu Světle až tmavě zelené, hnědé a stříbrné tipy.
  • Suché listy jsou krásné, téměř lesklé kvality.
  • Nálev má jasnou zlato-žlutou barvu vůně je ovocná květinová
  • Velmi svěží sladká a květinová chuť. (orchidej), honeylike . Mírné zemitá Jemný a hladký pocit v ústech.
