Tamaryoku-cha from Ureshino

Description seller: Saga Prefecture, with its teas from Ureshino, is famous for kama-iri chas, but even more so for tamaryoku-chas, also called guri-chas.

This tea produces very fresh flavours in the mouth, airy with the first infusion, and stronger and deeper with the following pots. The nose and taste are characterized by vegetal scents of raw beans against a background recalling some aspects of pure Japanese rice. The whole combination has no astringency but very good length, very mellow and sweet.

Very light roasting (hi-ire) makes it possible to enjoy the true flavour of tea leaves, directly, with no artifice.

This tamaryoku is a very well-balanced Japanese tea, with a strong taste that is simple to enjoy but also has a great deal of depth.

Steeping method

    Quantity of leaves*: 4 g / 1.2 tsp

    Quantity of water: 70 ml / 1/4 cup

    Water temperature: 70°C / 158°F

    Steeping time: 50-60 seconds

Hodnocení:

• Tmavě zelené drátkovité lístky, stočené nepravidelně, drobné, lehce potrhané a roztřepené.
• Velmi dobrý čaj z městečka Ureshino, který byl ve velmi malém množství ručně pražen na pánvi.

•  V jeho chuti tak můžeme kromě typické svěžesti identifikovat také slabý dotyk pražení, který se projevuje lehkým oříškovým tónem.
• Jedná se o velmi vyrovnaný Japonský čaj, chuť má jednoduchou, ale také ukazuje spoustu hloubky.

Vzoreček přišel opět krásně vakuově balený, po jeho otevření mně obklopila sveží jarní vůně.Čaj vás velmi pozitivně naladí a dostane do pohody před stresující situací a uklidní po ní. Pití tohoto čaje navozuje určitou vážnost, ale ne striktní etiketu. A jednoznačně stojí za ochutnání.
